Methodology for education of patriotism and social responsibility of students based on their inclusion to traditional Russian values

The ideas about education as a transmission of traditional Russian values to younger generations are being updated. The axiological perspective on the development of educational methodology in modern conditions and the leading importance of the axiological approach to the formation of patriotism and social responsibility in students are substantiated. It is noted that the methodology of the axiological approach involves understanding patriotism and social responsibility as personal qualities in close relationship and interdependence. The role of the Russian language as the state language and the language of interethnic communication in the formation of patriotic consciousness and patriotic feelings is highlighted. Methodological principles for organizing the process of instilling patriotism and social responsibility in students are presented.
