Computer simulation of atom scattering as applied to problems of scientific instrumentation

A review of computer simulation methods for atom scattering studies developed at the Institute for Analytical Instrumentation of RAS is given as applied to problems of abundance sensitivity of mass spectrometers, the physics of gas dynamic ion sources and gas-filled recoil separators.
