Methods of mathematical statistics in pedagogical research: theory and practice of application

Бесплатный доступ

Currently, it is not enough just to write a dissertation on pedagogical sciences, describing your experiment as the introduction of new technologies into education. For more reliable confirmation of their results, since the 2000s of the XXI century, methods of mathematical statistics, which had previously been used only in psychological research, have been used for clarity and reliability. In the article, the authors show how to apply mathematical statistics methods in pedagogical research and consider which of them, according to the authors, are the most effective and available for use in dissertation research by applicants in pedagogical sciences. For convenient application of mathematical statistics methods, in the age of innovative technologies, the authors recommend using the SPSS statistics program. It is a “powerful” statistical software platform. It offers a user friendly interface and a reliable set of functions that allow you to quickly extract useful information for dissertations. Advanced statistical procedures help to ensure high accuracy and quality of decision making. All aspects of the analytical cycle are included, from data preparation and management to analysis and reporting. Users can perform descriptive statistics and regression analysis, view missing data patterns, and summarize variable distributions using an integrated intuitive interface without having to write code.
