Methods of organizing educational and research work of students in the process of studying history

This article examines the impact of students' educational and research activities on improving the effectiveness of the history teaching process at school. The author of the article, analyzing the practical experience of using research methods in grades 9, substantiates the conclusion that they arouse significant cognitive interest and contribute to the formation of a scientific worldview of students.
