Methods of teaching traditional Chinese painting in China’s general education system

The article examines the peculiarities of the methods of teaching Chinese painting in modern schools of China in accordance with the age specifics of students; traces the continuity of the use of techniques and materials of traditional painting in the general educational space. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the cultural context of the problem posed and to the history of Chinese art education. Examples-illustrations of the most popular in practice techniques and means of stimulating students' interest in the study of the semantic, figurative and technological component of art are presented. In addition, the educational path of a modern school student comprehending traditional Chinese painting is described. This allows to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the methods considered in the work, as well as to correctly set the accents in the potential modeling of innovative methods of teaching traditional Chinese painting. Separately, the need to combine several teaching methods in school practice to achieve the best result is emphasized. The potential of the described system of teaching for further research on this topic is noted, as well as for the development of the author's teaching methods.
