Metrics of a complex determinate system

The article is devoted to investigation of complex determinate systems. The paper analyzes the concept of a complex system, applicable for various problems and phenomena. The article shows that the classical definitions of complex systems do not take into account the number of elements and the capacity of the formal description of a complex system. The article considers description of complex systems, given by G. Rzhevsky. It is shows that it does not cover closed and deterministic systems. The paper shows that the theory of complex systems developed by Hiroki Sayama is more general in relation to the theory of systems of Bertalanffy and Mesarovic. The article analyzes Halstead's metrics applied in the field of software, and proves their ideological acceptability to the description of complex systems despite being formally inapplicable. The authors introduce three metrics of a complex deterministic system to differentiate complex systems by the number of elements and content. The article gives description and substantiation of these concepts metrics. Authors reveal the main problem of describing complex systems - finding a balance between the simplicity of describing the system model and preserving the essential characteristics of the complexity of the system.
