Between futurism and socialist realism: Tikhon Churilin's creative work in 1920-1940

The article explores the features of Tikhon Vasilievich Churilin's (1885-1946) poetic style in 1920-40's. The results of the analysis show that Tikhon Churilin's poetic manner has evolved from symbolism to the simplified aesthetics of the Soviet epoch, with its simplicity and didactics, though his late period reveals some motifs of the first poetic books.
