This article analyzes the historical and international legal framework for the protection of the rights of minors in modern Russia. Discussed issues of providing guarantees for the protection of the rights of minors of victims and witnesses in investigative actions are discussed, measures are proposed to improve legislation when involving other participants in criminal proceedings
