International customs cooperation within the framework of detection, prevention and suppression of weapon and ammunition smuggling

International customs cooperation in the modern world is mutually beneficial to all countries participating in it. Thus, thanks to the cooperation of customs services around the world, significant changes are taking place in the law enforcement sphere, through joint efforts to identify, prevent and suppress customs offenses. The article analyzes the law enforcement activities of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in terms of identifying crimes related to arms smuggling. Based on the results of the analysis, problems were identified, as well as ways to solve them.
