The article deals with such an urgent problem as international terrorism. The author analyzes the content of international legal documents and scientific points of view on the nature of this phenomenon. On the basis of this, the key features characteristic of international terrorism are systematized. The key reasons for the development of terrorist activities within the international community are highlighted. The consequences of terrorism, which are clearly negative, are formulated.
