Interlanguage relations in the field of phraseology (based on the material of modern French prose (P. Lemaitre, F. Begbeder, A. Gavalda and others)

The main purpose of this article is to try to find out how relevant the phraseological units used in modern French fiction are, and how often there are phrases among them that have either complete or slightly different equivalents in Russian. Thus, the subject of observations are interlanguage macrosymmetric and desymmetric phraseological equivalents. The research is carried out on the basis of a comparative method involving historical and etymological analysis, which allows us to identify the universal and ethno-specific in the studied phraseological material.
