Intercultural differentiation of the educational environment as a methodological principle of the environmental approach

The article examines the intercultural di erentiation of the professional educational environment, which today is becoming a necessity and a reality in connection with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard to create conditions for multi level teaching of language and culture for special purposes. The work presents the author’s position on the need to design an intercultural educational di erentiated environment as the most important methodological principle of professional foreign language education. Examples are given of the formation of professional intercultural communicative competence of a future customs specialist based on the personalization of the process of training in intercultural communication and the development of the personality of the future specialist. The author’s “Menu Card” technique, which is part of individual educational support for students when teaching them intercultural professional communication, is presented and justi ed. This technological technique is an individual di erentiated educational personal program for the student, giving him the opportunity to learn and develop at a convenient pace.
