Intercultural interaction of musicians as the basis for the development of their professionalism

In this article, the features of the interaction of the world and national musical culture are examined on the examples of creative and pedagogical activity of the best graduates of the Moscow State Conservatory, among them S. V. Rakhmaninov, A. B Goldenweiser, and the wife of Levin (Iosif Arkadevich and Rosina Yakovlevna) who having mastered the best traditions of the piano school of Russia, exerted a strong influence on the American school, having brought up a whole galaxy of outstanding pianists, in particular - Van Cliburn. The article notes that the Tchaikovsky Competition promotes the expansion of creative contacts, forms the basis for intercultural interaction with various musicians, helping them to improve their performing skills, and along with it to develop and musical art.
