Intercultural competence as a part of a manager professional competence

The formation of the intercultural competence of management students in the structure of general professional training is under consideration. Contradictions between demand in high-skilled specialists of a new level and their training in accordance with the subsequent professional activity are identified in the article. The author emphasizes that at present the education should give importance not only to professional knowledge proper but also to integaration ogf such values as goodwill, prestige, interculturality, cultural tolerance.
