The article discusses interaction of students' motivation to studying one or another subject with their understanding of relations between one subject with another. The analysis of the state educational standards performed by the author allows to state wide inter-subject relations of mathematics and other academic disciplines. The concrete examples how to use such relations in mathematics classes with students of agricultural specialities are provided.
