Mythologem of justice as an element of individual regulation of legal relations

In the article presented to the attention of readers, the author, based on the application of the method of historical and legal reconstruction and the general theory of systems, based on identifying the place of Themis/Justice in the pantheon of ancient gods, analyzed the scientific discussion on the subject of the study, established the specifics of the legal understanding of the Hellenes and Romans in terms of the definition the fundamental functionality of justice, and came to the conclusion that the immanent function of justice is the resolution of social (interpersonal) conflicts, and law enforcement plays the role of a tool that ensures the implementation of this function; also the author formulated and illustrated such a legal principle as a multi-level understanding of legal phenomena, based on the concept of integrative legal understanding.
