The article study the population shift occurred in the Vologda region nowadays. Coefficient of a migratory gain for the region districts is calculated, its analysis is carried out, consequently, some recommendations on the demographic situation and the increase of the living place, studying, work of the Vologda region districts attractiveness are given.
