Migration: toward countering the destructive impact of migration on the security of the Russian state

The article examines certain aspects of the negative impact of migration on national security. Based on the scientific works of Russian and foreign scientists, analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation, data from international and other official statistics, the author comes to a reasonable conclusion about the need to change the approach to the formation of migration policy, in particular, to strengthen its component, which concerns the interests of the indigenous people of the Russian Federation. The research methodology includes the universal dialectical method, general scientific and private scientific methods, the application of a systematic approach, the use of tools for theoretical generalization and statistical analysis, as well as the method of legal modeling and forecasting. The author makes a number of proposals to improve measures to counteract the destructive impact of migration on national security.
