Generalizing scientific approaches to the study of migration, it is necessary to note that this sophisticated social phenomenon can be described only on the basis of a complex interdisciplinary approach, combining and synthesizing the theoretical postulates of different scientific fields. At the same time, it should be taken into account that regardless of the types of migration movement we are talking about, the factor of economic expediency, the mechanism of the labor market remains in the center of attention. However, the latter does not mean that any migration is a subject of economic science. Its scope of study extends only to economic migration, primarily labor migration, due to the availability of jobs, wages, and housing. It should be noted that consideration of such factors cannot explain the internal migration flows of Russia, in particular, to the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Migration acts as a complex phenomenon, covering a variety of aspects related to the movement of population, so a multifactor analysis is needed, requiring comprehensive methods and an interdisciplinary approach. Based on this presumption, a multifactorial description of the regional asymmetry of migration processes, indicators of their power, intensity and performance is undoubtedly relevant.
