Microbiome, which is understood as a set of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses and fungi that colonize the human body form an ecological system that is critical to human health. Over the past decade, the microbial community (microbiome) of the human body has been recognized as a fundamental factor determined its physiology and pathology. Recent studies have revealed the important of gut microbiota in hemopoiesis. Violation of the balance of intestinal microbiota – dysbiosis leads to the development of various disorders such as inflammatory bowel diseases, obesity. The leading factor contributing to the onset of dysbiosis in patients is antibiotic therapy. In the past few years, the role of microbiome in hematological diseases has been investigated. The participation of microbiota in the pathogenesis of hemoblastosis, in particular multiple myeloma is being actively studied.
