Microfinance organizations as business entities: history, modernity, perspective

The article examines the history, current state and prospects for the development of microfinance organizations. It is noted that the attitude towards microfinance organizations today is predominantly negative due to cases of fraud in this area. It has been revealed that in recent years there has been a decrease in the number of microfinance organizations due to the adopted legislative restrictions that prevent abuse by these business entities. It is concluded that the adopted legislative innovations should have a positive impact on the conscientious behavior of microfinance organizations.
