Microhistory role in the civil patriotic upbringing (several approaches to the study of rural history)

The article analyses meaning of microhistory which is instrumental in solving socially important tasks of a humanitarian character. Research into history of a Russian village is presented as a means of patriotic upbringing of current generations not only in a global and national but also in regional context as well.
