Microfertilizers and growth regulators in protection technology of the mentha piperita against weeds in the conditions of the Western Ciscaucasia

We developed a protection technology for Mentha piperita against weeds based on application of the binary mixture of a herbicide Corsair in the reduced consumption rate (2.5 l per ha) a microfertilizer Sili-plant (0.5 l per ha). The experiment was conducted on the mint variety Kunamskaya 6. The developed technology allowed reducing weeds infestation in fields up to 76% and provided increase of plant productivity in the first hay by 12%, an essential oil yield - up to 16%. The further treatment of the growing plants by an organic-mineral fertilizer Absolute or a microfertilizer Tsitovit caused increase in grass productivity of the second hay by 14%, and an essential oil yield - up to 19%.
