The article presents a comparative analysis of poems for children of prominent representatives of the Dolgan and Chukchi poetry - Ohdо Aksenova and Antonina Kymytval. The author explores the methods of transmission of psychology of early childhood, moments of creative transformation of the world in a game; there is a typology of children's images in lyrical miniatures. Images of children's poetry Aksenova and Kymytval characterized by a unique variety, they significantly influence the specific cultural and historical experience, are reflected universal and national traits: the inner freedom and wealth of imagination, willingness and ability to constructive, creative work, healthy notions of good and evil.
