Settlement agreement in insolvency cases

The paper reflects the key features characteristic of concluding a settlement agreement in the framework of insolvency (bankruptcy) cases. The positive aspects affecting the workload of the judicial system when considering this category of dispute are highlighted, as well as a number of problems requiring further solutions. The author made a conclusion about the effective use of the settlement agreement as a tool to achieve reconciliation of the parties.
