“Imaginary values” by N. Narokov: poetics of title and structure of novel

Novel by N.Narokov (Nikolaj Vladimirovich Marchenko-Narokov, 1887-1969) "Imaginary values" was issued in publishing house named after A.P.Chehov(New York) in 1952 and became the newsmaker in the literature of Russian abroad [1] as in content( the Soviets-1937), as according to form (traditions of Russian classical novel, begin with F.M.Dostoevskij). There is a great role in revelation of authorial conception of novel as epic whole "first word", title, which "gives marginally whole book", "condense it". The novel "Imaginary values" by N.Narokov comprises two parts: there are ХХIV chapters in the first part, and there are ХХI chapters in the second part, and taking together they evulgate staging and evolution of initial "topic", its main and metaphorical meaning.
