Multiple languages as phenomenon of Russian culture in XVIII century

The article considers the problem of multiple languages in Russian culture which became the most important factor of accomplishment of significant part of welfare, political, and cultural reforms in Russian in XVIII century. Particular attention is drawn to the practical use of foreign languages by the representatives of different social and professional groups of Russian society.
