The article considers social reflection as a multifaceted and multilevel individual-personality and social phenomenon determined by the complexity and multi-facet character of individual and mass consciousness, the multilevel character of group, societal and social relations in which social reflexivity is realized, by the levels of its individual, social group and mass manifestation, social functions and its belonging to social processes. The study of social reflexivity and its subject-personality quality was conducted from the point of view of practical activity and creative social-cognitive integrity. The authors stress that as a personal and social quality, it is an expression of the correspondence of personal values to social values and in this respect it indicates the attitude to social reality and a criterion of social reasoning of any action. Social reflection serves as the basis for developing strategies for both individual and group behaviour; it measures self-expression and self-development, and is the basis for acquiring general social meanings by individuals.
