Model of formation of inclusive culture of pedagogical college students

The purpose of the article is to identify methodological approaches and develop, on their basis, a model for forming an inclusive culture of students of a pedagogical college. The rapid pace of development of the domestic education system taking into account the principle of inclusion, on the one hand, and the low level of formation of the inclusive culture of teachers, who play an important role in the educational process, on the other, determined the relevance of the research topic. Formation of an inclusive culture of a teacher involves development of a humane attitude towards children with disabilities, construction of an educational environment that includes respect for each child, cooperation and support, responsibility and empathy, readiness to accept a child as he/she is. To conduct the study, the author used a theoretical analysis of scientific literature, generalization of pedagogical experience on the problem under consideration, which allowed to determine methodological approaches to the development of the model, its structural components and functional connections between them. As a methodological basis for constructing a model for the formation of an inclusive culture, the systemic, axiological, personal-activity and environmental approaches were defined. The structural components of the model are motivational-target, content-process and reflexive-evaluative, which are functionally interconnected and equal in their importance, which allows for their comprehensive implementation in the educational process. The main properties of the model are integrity, flexibility, continuity and integration. The result of the implementation of the developed model in the educational process of the pedagogical college is a sufficiently high level of formation of the inclusive culture of students, ensuring the success of the pedagogical activity of the future teacher in the field of inclusive education in preschool and general school education organizations.
