A model for the formation of students' research skills in the process of teaching academic writing

The article presents a model for the formation of students' research skills in the process of teaching academic writing, focused on modern educational requirements and standards of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic. The necessity of integrating academic writing and research activities for the development of professional competencies of future specialists is substantiated. The model includes targeted, substantive, procedural, and evaluative-effective components. Teaching methods such as problem-based learning, project activities, case studies, peer review, and the use of ICT are described. An example of the implementation of the model is presented in the form of a course aimed at developing critical thinking, presentation logic and scientific communication skills. The proposed model can be adapted to different educational conditions.
