The most relevant professionally significant managerial competencies that are directly related to the competencies of the leadership register are presented and described. The model of leadership competencies of the head of an educational organization in the context of integrity is a set of measurable and developable leadership competencies, which is proved by the materials of the study. The developed checklist was used by respondents for self-assessment of the level of formation of leadership competencies. The selection of components in the structure of competencies will allow you to select the content in any system of competencies, which makes such checklists a universal tool for managing the formation and development of specialists in the management of any educational systems. For the authors of the article, the results of the study determine a constructive update of the content of course programs for the system of additional education, master’s disciplines, taking into account the identified deficiencies in the implementation of the competence of leaders and members of the management teams of educational organizations.
