Pedagogical assistance model to form teacher's readiness to develop patriotic feelings in teenagers

Rapidly growing modern society needs highly-educated, productive, civic-minded people that demonstrate mobility, humanity, liability to the country, are good at decision making and responsible for their behavior. Patriotic education is a very important part in the system of school education. Therefore, the teacher as a source of patriotic education should have the following qualities: he should be considerate, tolerant, attentive. Unfortunately, as practice shows, most of present-day teachers are not ready enough for patriotic education because their level of knowledge is not high; they have weak motivation, and a low level of patriotism. This paper is aimed to offer a solution based on the development of pedagogical assistance model to form teacher’s readiness to develop patriotic feelings in youth. The methods of opinion poll and observation were used to identify the key concept of the research - “pedagogical assistance to form teacher’s readiness to develop patriotic feelings in teenagers”.
