Agriculture is one of the priorities of economic development and food security - one of the main directions of national security. Improving the efficiency of crop production is only possible through intensification, provides for an increase yield and reduce the cost of crops due to the rational use of fertilizers, the introduction of high-yielding varieties and improved farming techniques of cultivation. Tillage is the most important and the most energy-intensive part of almost all agricultural crops cultivation technologies. On it consumes from 30 to 40% of all energy consumed in agriculture. The purpose of research. Improving the efficiency of disk tillers, reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of tillage. The article presents a mathematical model of the hexagonal blade. The dependences of the arrow of the knife blade, blade length between two adjacent peaks, and the angle between the tangent to two adjacent blades in their common vertex of the angle between the disc and forming its base. Three cases of manufacturing hexagonal convex disk considered in the given mathematical model. In the first case, the cutting plane is vertical, then the processing of the soil is completely blade into a horizontal position and a qualitative undercutting the average density of the soil layer.
