Models of physical culture and sport management: analysis of foreign experience

The article is devoted to the analysis of foreign models of physical culture and sport management. The author identified and analyzed three models of physical culture and sport management organization. The first model provides for management through the National Olympic Committee and the sports confederation. In the second model, management in the field of physical culture and sports is carried out by a public organization - the National Olympic Committee. The third model of industry management is implemented by national sports federations with the coordinating participation of the state. It is noted that the European models of physical culture and sport management, in addition to state structures, provide for the active participation of civil society institutions specializing in physical culture and sport. The principle of interaction between state authorities, local self-government and civil society ensures the proportional development of professional, mass and elite sports.
