Simulation of biofuel investment projects in the case of Arkhangelsk oblast

The article discusses biofuel projects of Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation in the case of Arkhangelsk Oblast. It is aimed at studying the investment attractiveness of this type of fuel by means of investment project simulation. We have made conclusions about the economic feasibility of investing in regional biofuel projects, which makes it possible to use in the interests of the regional economy such advantages of advanced wood processing products as energy efficiency, transportability, environmental safety, compatibility with fossil fuels, compliance with the existing energy systems and infrastructure, application in automated autonomous heating systems.
