Modeling as the method of teaching the Russian language to foreign post-graduate students

Introduction. The works of domestic and foreign experts emphasize the importance of using modeling, language formulas, speech patterns and patterns as an effective means of building the communicative competence of foreign students. The focus is made on the importance and relevance of the problem on the formation of the communicative and language competencies of foreign students - police officers from abroad. Materials and methods. The study was carried out in the course of teaching the disciplines "Russian as a foreign language" to foreign students, as well as "Foreign Language (Russian)" and "Russian Language" for post-graduate students from Mongolia at the Omsk Academy of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the same time, educational and methodological materials developed for these disciplines were used: testing programs, work programs, plans for practical instructions and self-study, evaluation funds, etc. The author employed the following methods: comparative, historical, emotional-semantic, as well as testing and analysis of test results, the study of pedagogical documentation, modeling. Results and discussion. The article examines the peculiarities of preparing foreign post-graduate students to write legal scientific texts in Russian. The mentioned work is carried out in the course of the creation of scientific texts of professional orientation or their fragments. Concrete examples of textual parts are presented, demonstrating lexical units, forms of words, syntactic constructions that are used by foreign post-graduate students to create communicative models of legally important situations according to a scientific profile. Conclusions. The formation of the ability to create scientific legal texts by means of the Russian language as a foreign language in post-graduate students - law enforcement officers of foreign countries involves systematic, well-organized and considered activity of the teacher and the student aiming to raise the level of spelling, punctuation and stylistic literacy as well as to develop the ability to make an optimal choice of means of scientific style.
