Modeling the motivation mechanism

The state of development of the problem of dening the essence of component analysis of the motivation mechanism via trans-disciplinary and activity approaches is analyzed. Motivation is understood as a process of forming external stimuli and inner motives that support human behavior at a certain level. The complex and multi-aspect character of the “motivation mechanism” phenomenon are explained, as we see it, by its universality due to inclusion into many areas of activity, ambiguousness revealed at different levels and extreme importance for people as an activity starter. Conceptual model of motivation mechanism in unied professional education activities is developed via revealing the regularities of its functioning and the priorities of pedagogical approach. Motivation mechanism is seen as an open, complex dynamic non-linear system with ambiguous reply that includes process component, behavior and outcome-correction components. Cycles of of motivation mechanism in relation to the psychological attitude are described. It is maintained that motivation structures are changed via reection of the situation changes with the priority of cognitive motives, success and self-realization motives.
