The mathematical model of dynamics and lubricating of multilayered hydrodynamic bearings taking into account friction losses in oil sources and in a cavitations region, results parametrical researches of influence of constructive and operation parametres on turbocharger rotor vibrations level and hydromechanical characteristics of bearings are presented. The designs of rotor bearings for turbocharger TKR-8,5S created with using of developed algorithms and the software for calculation multilayered journal bearings are presented
