The study is dedicated to the impact of integrative academic performance and heterogeneity of the student group on individual achievements of the student. Students' prior knowledge is tested (250 students from 20 groups of the Medical University). Average academic performance of every group is computed as well as the ratio of students with the different learning achievements. The relations between the individual level of knowledge, the average rating of the group and the level of heterogeneity of the student group by achievement score are examined. We identified the correlation between the average rating of the group and the individual test results. A statistically valid influence on the personal result revealed the statistics on the high and low achievement in the group. The relations between the individual test results and the high level of knowledge and the student group membership have not been received. The presence of students with high level of academic proactive in the student group has a positive effect on the others students' level of knowledge. Total academic activity of the group has an impact on individual achievements. Students success is dependent on the heterogeneity of the student group. Selecting in the groups is one of the easily accessible methods to increase students knowledge. The identification of the hidden aspects, positive and negative, in the different collectives for the students with a high level of knowledge must be studied separately.
