Content Moderation: From a Regulatory Obligation to Information Control

The article examines current issues related to online content moderation. While this activity is mandatory for most digital platforms, it also empowers platforms to determine the limits of dissemination of certain materials. The author examines Russian and international approaches to regulating moderation procedures.
