Modernization and innovative transformations of the economy of the agro-industrial complex of the North Caucasus federal district

The article considers the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District from the perspective of the dynamic development of the agro-industrial complex as an integral part and one of the main system-forming elements of the economy of the district. Measures and measures are presented to increase the volume of gross output in the agricultural sector through the development of food and light industry and attracting capital to agricultural production, which contributes to the economic growth of agriculture, the preservation of labor potential, improving the quality of life in rural areas and reducing the outflow of the population.
