Modernization of Russian machine-building complex in the context of economic sanctions: problems and solutions

The statistic data of the state of machine-building complex in Russia are analyzed in this article; the key issues of its functioning are discussed in the times of economic sanctions. The necessity of production development by the innovation way connected with the machine-building enterprises modernization in order to increase the level of productivity, to move to a new technological structure and to substitute import, is emphasized. The instruments of state support for the modernization of the machine-building enterprises are proposed.
