Modernization of milk separator

The article discusses the modernization of a separator with periodic sludge discharge. The disadvantages of this separator are the fuzzy operation of the mechanism that provides centrifugal partial discharge of the sediment (together with the sediment, the separated cream is partially removed - the performance of the separator decreases) and the increased consumption of the buffer liquid (water) going to make-up, which compensates for its partial exit from the buffer chamber through the channel to basis. The modernized separator allows to ensure accurate and reliable operation of the control mechanism for centrifugal sludge discharges and, with a comparatively simple design, to drastically reduce the liquid (water) consumption for controlling the separator's operation cycle. A distinctive feature of the development is that it has a simple design, safe for maintenance, has reliability, manufacturability and low energy consumption.
