Modernization of the drum-type installation for shooting skins

Separating the hides from animal carcasses is a laborious operation. Its labor intensity is from 11 to 40% of the total labor intensity of carcass processing. Shooting of the hide should be carried out carefully, without cuts, snatches of meat and fat from the surface of the carcass, since in the presence of cuts, the quality and grade of the hide are reduced, and in the presence of snags of meat and fat, the meat yield, its quality and shelf life are reduced. The article proposes a modernized drum kit for skin shooting. The proposed modernization of the skinning installation eliminates all its disadvantages, thereby increasing the quality of skinning and reducing labor costs, as well as increasing the productivity not only of the installation, but of the entire workshop.
