Modification of polyethylene films in low-temperature gliding discharge plasma to create roll waterproofing

Бесплатный доступ

The results of a study of modified polyethylene films in a creeping discharge plasma are presented. It is proved that the modification of the surface of films in plasma is environmentally friendly and resource-efficient in comparison with chemical modification. The modified polyethylene films were examined using infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and the contact angle method. After plasma modification, polyethylene films acquired hydrophilic properties caused by a change in the chemical structure of the polymer surface. Due to the improved contact properties, modified polyethylene films are of interest as a base material for creating polymer-roll waterproofing materials.
