The article is devoted to the evolution of migration media discourse in France in 2015-2025 based on modular discursive analysis, which is being developed by linguists of the Geneva Linguistic School, primarily in the works of E. Roulet. The research material consists of 133 publications of the national publication Le Monde devoted to migration issues. In general, over the past decade, the newspaper's migration narrative has shifted away from considering the impact of the migration crisis on Europe to covering pressing issues of regulating the lives of refugees and migrants in the country. The publication's publication activity on migration issues peaked in September 2015, October 2016, November 2020, October 2021, and March 2023. The authors turn to E. Roulet's modular discursive approach, applying it to analyze one of the 2015 Monde articles. Modular analysis allows us to model the hierarchy of levels of discourse organization. The analysis of the linguistic component revealed the ambiguity and terminological density of the text, the actualization of synonymous meanings. The relational module revealed the importance of the "discourse memory" necessary for understanding the text, the informative module revealed the polyphonic organization of the discourse, and the periodic module revealed its argumentative structure. In general, the modular approach allows us to explore both the specifics of each component of the discourse and the relationship between them.
