The mode of presence and its content in interpersonal communication

The article describes presence as a mode of trans- semiotic experience in communication. The author discusses a range of trans-semiotic contents revealed in the mode of presence, such as aura, body, warmth, cold, and the very presence itself. The paper carries out critical analysis of H.U. Gumbrecht’s philosophy of presence as a version of trans-semiotic philosophy.
