The article is devoted to the consideration of the essence of social and cultural activity in the context of globalization processes. On the basis of a theoretical analysis of the characteristics of modern cultural and civilizational trends, the modes of globalization are identified, and their effect on the organization of social and cultural activity is shown. A number of problematic issues are identified due to the anthropological component of globalization processes. Among them: a multidimensional image of a person, a representative variety of various social roles, a subject of social and cultural activity, held together by a systematizing factor - social security in the global world; what role can public associations and trade unions participating in the system of public-private partnership be able to play along with cultural institutions in actualizing the humanistic potential of social and cultural activity; what are the most common signs of creative clusters associated with a paradigm shift in the contemporary cultural situation?
Social and cultural activity, globalization, modes of globalization, personality, creative cluster, dialogue of cultures
