The aim of our study was to determine the taxonomic affiliation of BLV isolated from the livestock farms of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the context of molecular-genetic aspects of BLV typing. The systematic herd monitoring on the genotypic level of BLV identification, will enhance the efficiency of anti-epizootic events.
