Ayrshire, milk yield Holstein breeds in terms of the Udmurt Republic

Studies conducted in OJSC «Prikamye» Karakulinskogo of the Udmurt Republic in milk productivity of cows for first and second lactation. Research data have shown that the amount of the production of Ayrshire breed for first lactation amounted to 5041.2 kg, Holstein – 5581.6 kg, the second lactation 5464.6 kg and 6246 kg respectively. The Ayrshire of fat varies – 4.09- 4.06% Holstein breed – 3.80- 3.75%.
